Agave Coconut Matcha Latte

A couple of month ago, I started drinking matcha tea and using it in different drinks. Below, I wrote the recipe for my favorite drink that I absolutely love with matcha as well as some info about this amazing ingredient.

~De cateva luni am inceput sa beau ceai matcha, un ceai verde mult mai concentrat. Mai jos am scris cateva detalii despre acest ceai si o reteta pentru o bautura matcha foarte usor de facut si delicioasa.

 

 

 

Ingredients / Ingrediente:

  • 2 tbsp Matcha / 2 lingurite de ceai Matcha

  • 1 cup unsweetened Almond milk / o cana de lapte de migdale neindulcit

  • 2 tbsp Coconut butter / 2 lingurite unt de cocos

  • 1 tbsp Agave syrup / 1 lingurita sirop de agave

  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract / jumatate de lingurita esenta de vanilie

The almond milk has to be warm and then all the ingredients are blended until you see foam appearing.

~Laptele de migdale il incalzim, dupa care toate ingredientele se pun in blender si se amesteca pana se formeaza spuma.

 

Matcha tea is a more premium green tea powder from Japan used for drinking as tea or as an ingredient to add in different recipes. While other green teas are grown throughout the world, matcha is unique to Japan. 

~Ceaiul matcha este un tip de ceai verde din Japonia. Acesta se poate consuma ca ceai sau se poate adauga in diferite retete. 

 

When drinking matcha tea, you are basically drinking the actual leafs, which have been finely powdered and made into a solution, traditionally by mixing about a teaspoon of matcha powder with a third cup of hot water (heated to less than a boil), which is then whisked with a bamboo brush until it froths.

~Ceai matcha reprezinta frunza de ceai in intregime (sub forma de pudra dizolvata in apa). Aceasta este diferenta intre orice alt tip de ceai verde si ceaiul matcha: apa extrage o parte din antioxidantii continuti in frunzele de matcha, in timp ce pudra, obtinuta prin macinarea frunzelor, are proprietati nutritionale mult mai puternice.

~Gustul ceaiului este puternic, de ceai verde foarte concentrat usor cu gust de spanac.

Ceea ce este grozav este ca mathca nu este doar o bautura, ci poate fi utilizat atunci cand faci deserturi sau adaugat in sosuri, chiar si cand faci guacamole.
