Your space inevitably transforms over time as you add sentimental pieces, family heirlooms, and collectibles from travels. At some point you will also realize that certain interior design trends are out of style, and other trends are coming back.
Watching trends is not always a good ideas, since you are not re-decorating the home each time something new appears.
Our spaces are usually limited, so you cannot bring to make different styles, nor to make items. Otherwise you would end up cluttering your home.
Don`t forget: Quality Over Quantity
What i like to do now in my journey to become a minimalist is to put items in a box and store them. It is hard to throw thing out especially when you like them all.
So instead of wasting objects and throwing them (of course you can donate them when I say throw) , you can store them and 2-3 times a year you can give your home a makeover.

I actually did this, and although this might not be minimalist approved, it still feel good, because you still de-clutter and get more space. Needless to say that it is nice to get a makeover once in a while.
