I am sorry for not making time to write as often as I did before, but I am trying to get on track! Meanwhile I will start posting short recommendations that I find important to share with you all.
Beet is a vegetable that is not on everyone's tastes because of the earthy flavour, but it has the most powerful health benefits which include its ability to lower blood pressure, prevent cancer, cleanse the liver, treat anemia and increase stamina. These benefits of beetroots can be attributed to their richness in nutrients, vitamins, and minerals.
Now that we know how healthy beet is, we need to find delicious recipes so we can like eating it.
So, I want to share a delicious recipe, which is very easy to make..
4 cups mixed salad
1 small beet, coarsely chopped (you an use canned, but I like to boil mine)
2 tbsp cilantro or oregano, chopped
4 tbsp goat cheese
For the Vinegrette:
4 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsp Dijon mustard
2 tsp honey - optional
salt and pepper
As you can see the ingredients just need to be added in a salad bowl and mixed well. And that is all.
