Watermelon - Great for skin


Despite the popular belief that watermelon is just water and sugar, this fruit is actually a nutrient dense food. It provides high levels of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and just a small number of calories. Still it is not a recommend fruit if your doing the keto diet. But we are not going to talk about the benefits of eating the watermelon, instead we are talking about the benefits of applying it on our faces.

Watermelon is great for the skin because it contains vitamin A, a nutrient required for sebum production, which keeps hair moisturized. Vitamin A is also necessary for the growth of all bodily tissues, including skin and hair.

Adequate intake of vitamin C is also needed for the building and maintenance of collagen, which provides structure to skin and hair. Additionally, watermelon contributes to overall hydration, which is vital for healthy looking skin and hair.

Mask for having soft skin:

Take watermelon juice and yogurt. Mix them together. Apply this face on your face and neck for ten minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

Scrub:

Watermelon is an excellent skin exfoliator as it is rich in malic acid. If you want to exfoliate your dead skin cells, simply rub watermelon pulp on your face and wash it off after 20 minutes. Mask for dry skin:

Take a few pieces of watermelon and mash it well. Mix one tablespoon of honey to this pulp and apply it on the face for 30 minutes.

Watermelon to remove tan:

Desi se considera ca pepenele rosu contine doar apa si fructoza, el este de fapt un fruct cu multi nutrienti. Pepenele rosu contine multe vitamine, minerale si antioxidanti, dar si un numar mic de calorii. Totusi el nu este recomandat atunci cand urmezi dieta ketogenica, din cauza fructozei. Insa astazi doresc sa pun accentul pe beneficiile pepenelui atunci cand il folosim aplicat pe piele.

Pepenele este un fruct care este foarte benefic pentru piele deoarece contine vitamina A si C, ambele ajutand pielea sa se mentina hidratata si elastica.

Masca pentru o piele fina:

Se amesteca pepene rosu cu putin iaurt gras. Se aplica compozitia pe fata si se lasa 10 minute sa actioneze. Pepenele ajuta la hidratarea tenului, iar acidul lactic din iaurt ajuta a exfolierea tenului.

Scrub:

Pepenele este un ingredient bun pentru exfoliere deoarece este bogat in acid malic. Poti lua o bucatica de pepene si sa incepi sa masezi tenul cu ea, dupa care lasi sa actioneze 20 de minute.

Masca pentru ten uscat:

Strivim cateva bucatele de pepene. Adaugam o lingura de miere si amestecam. Aplicam masca pe fata si o lasam 30 de minute sa actioneze.

Eliminarea bronzului artificial:

Cu ajutorul sucului de pepene si o discheta demachianta poti sa elimini petele de la autobronzant. Aplica sucul pe zona bronzata, asteapta 15 minute dupa care clatesti cu apa.
