Ketogenic Eating - Mushroom Salty Cake - Dieta Ketogenica

This week I started to read articles about Ketogenic eating. A keto diet is well known for being a low carb diet, where the body produces ketones in the liver to be used as energy. Ketosis is a natural process the body initiates to help us survive when food intake is low. During this state, we produce ketones, which are produced from the breakdown of fats in the liver. The end goal of a properly maintained keto diet is to force your body into this metabolic state. We don’t do this through starvation of calories but starvation of carbohydrates. The ketogenic diet essentially uses your body fat as an energy source – so there are obvious weight loss benefits.

My main problem when trying to lose weight is that most recipes/diets are not on my taste. I hate feeling hungry, or not being able to eat something that is tasty for me. But I was surprised to see that mostly all the keto recipes sound super delicious and I decides to try eating ketogenic.

Saptamana aceasta am inceput sa citesc articole despre dieta ketogenica. Acesta este cunoscuta ca fiind dieta cu putini carbohidrati, in care organismul arde grasimi pentru energie. De fiecare data cand ardem acizi grasi, arderea se produce prin ketoza. Dieta ketogenica este o dieta in care activezi foarte mult fenomenul ketozei, sau al arderii grasimilor, de aceea organismul trebuie obisnuit ca grasimea este cel mai important combustibil, pe care trebuie sa il consume in totalitate, in loc sa il depuna, (pentru mai mutle detalii:

Prin faptul ca organismul incepe sa arda grasimi pentru energie vom vedea rezultate in pierderea kilogramelor.

Problema mea principala atunci cand vreau sa slabesc cateva kilograme, este ca majoritatea dietelor contin retete care mie nu imi plac in mod deosebit. Urasc sa imi fie foame sau sa nu pot manca ceva care sa aiba gust bun. Am fost placut surprinsa sa vad ca majoritatea dietelor keto par super delicioase, astfel ca m-am hotarat sa incerc cateva retete.

Mushroom Salty Cake

Ingredients / Ingrediente:

  • one small onion / o ceapa mica

  • 2 tbs. of olive oil / 2 lg. ulei de masline

  • 200 gr. mushrooms / 200 gr. de ciuperci

  • 2 eggs / 2 oua

  • 150 gr. cheese / 50 gr. cascaval

  • salt, pepper, basil / sare, piper, busuioc

Preparation / Preparare:

We dice the onion and fry it in a pan with the olive oil. After 3 minutes, we add the sliced mushrooms..

~ Maruntim ceapa pe care o calim timp de 3 minute, dupa care adaugam ciupercile taiate felii.

In the meantime, we divide the yolks from the whites. The yolks will be mixed with the cheese and condiments, while the whites will be mixed until we obtain foam.

~ Intre timp, separam galbenusurile de albusuri. Galbenusurile vor fi amestecate cu cascavalul si condimentele, iar albusurile se vor bate pentru a obtine spuma.

In the foam, we add the mushrooms and the yolks with cheese. We mix them together and pour the composition into a baking dish. We leave it in the over for 20 minutes.

~ In spuma de albus adaugam ciupercile si galbenusurile cu cascaval. Amestecam ingredientele si turnam compozitia intr-o tava pe care o vom pune in cuptor pentru 20 de minute.
